It was so much fun putting together this bridal shower. It took place at Seal Beach in a house we rented for a week (amazing). It was kind of stressful trying to bake away from home; not being able to bring my whole baking supplies with me... but I made it work :). I made cupcakes, chocolate covered preztel rods, goofy balls (marshmallows dipped in caramel and rice krispies with a little bit of chocolate on top....very yummy) and of course sugar cookies decorated with royal icing.
I made two kinds of cupcakes. One was white cake with strawberry creamcheese filling with whipping top on top. The second one was kahlua chocolate cake with kahlua mousse. Both cupcakes were very delicious.
These are the chocolate covered preztel rods. Both were dipped in milk chocolate, one had mini marshmallows and the other one had crushed toffee and both had drizzled caramel. They were so good!!!
We also had scones but I can't take credit for that. We got those from Trader Joe's and they were good.
Here are the sugar cookies again but in action!!!
These is how the table looked. It was the cutest table ever. Everyone had their own tea cup, the only thing that this picture is missing are the tea pots (they were getting filled with tea).
