Amrita & Matthew's Wedding

My brother in law just got married to a lovely and beautiful girl, Amrita. I was so honored when they ask me to do their wedding cake and other goodies. I had so much fun doing it, of course I had help from my best friend Melissa with all of the cake pops, pretzels and marshmallows. I decorated the cake in San Clemente in one of our long time family friends house, Judy and Norman. If it wasn't for them I don’t know where I was going to decorate the cake, so thank you sooooo much for allowing to use your home.

So you are not going to believe it.... Has my hubby and I were driving to drop off the cake where the reception was going to be, we had an accident with the cake. MY BIGGEST NIGHTMARE!!! My hubby put on the brakes a bit to hard and the cake just went forward. OMG I was freaking out, I didn't know what to do. You cant really see the damage becuase most of it happend in the back of the cake, Thank you god. If you pay attending the cake in the middle is not center and one of the paisley broke. After all that I think it still looked nice.

I loved the cake topper!!!

Amrita Tea Party Bridal Shower

It was so much fun putting together this bridal shower. It took place at Seal Beach in a house we rented for a week (amazing). It was kind of stressful trying to bake away from home; not being able to bring my whole baking supplies with me... but I made it work :). I made cupcakes, chocolate covered preztel rods, goofy balls (marshmallows dipped in caramel and rice krispies with a little bit of chocolate on top....very yummy) and of course sugar cookies decorated with royal icing.

I made two kinds of cupcakes. One was white cake with strawberry creamcheese filling with whipping top on top. The second one was kahlua chocolate cake with kahlua mousse. Both cupcakes were very delicious.

These are the chocolate covered preztel rods. Both were dipped in milk chocolate, one had mini marshmallows and the other one had crushed toffee and both had drizzled caramel. They were so good!!!

We also had scones but I can't take credit for that. We got those from Trader Joe's and they were good.

Here are the sugar cookies again but in action!!!

These is how the table looked. It was the cutest table ever. Everyone had their own tea cup, the only thing that this picture is missing are the tea pots (they were getting filled with tea).

Baptism Cookies

My cousing ask me to make her sugar cookies for her baby boy and niece's baptism. I made pink and blue crosses and white doves. They looked cute. They were still drying, so they weren't wrapped yet. I hope she likes them.

Our second cupcake party!!!

We had so much fun.

Baby Shower

My first sheet cake, not the best I done but here it is. It's white cake with half strawberries and half bananas. I also baked and decorated sugar cookies to match the theme (the frog was my favorite). I didn't have a  cookie cutter for the frog head so I cut each cookie by hand (took for ever), but I had fun.
